LISBON COLISEUM

This was the only Christmas show with live music. From the program, reference to Cirnenu, bonze clown  of 26th Monte-Carlo Festival. There were many other exciting acts like Miguelito, flying monkeys, the  canguru boxeur and Sebastians. The clowns were very amusing too! Last words to the woman ringmaster Florbela Torralvo who spoke out clearly and made the whole show happy! Congratulations to the producer Ricardo Coves!

Espaa presented the 3 rd. salt in the flying trapeze. Hernandez horses were awsome; the exercises were presented in a great rythm and style, despite the absence of sawdust in the ring.

ATLAS/AMAZONAS (TOUR 2003)

If you think you have seen everything in your life, you're wrong... is one of Dias bros' slogan for their show Amazonas. It begins with an evocation to those mythical women warriors. The star of Amazonas is the german tamer Maxymova (foto) presenting an unusual routine for bears: icarism, dance, handstand while going down stairs, and the racoons standed in perchs and walked in small giant wheels. It's amazing! This artist has its animals in good conditions: the polar bear has a private swimming-pool. Another great performer is Chicha (clown-Aida Muoz, nice of ngelo Muoz) who is a real actress. She enjoys the public during the show, with lots of nice gags and jokes. Karen presented a complete and thrilling collection of crocodiles (one of them weighted 400Kg) and snakes. Vernica and Flvio presented the home act of exotics, which is formed by lots of species (zebroid, camels, dromedaires, buffalo, yaques, llamas, goats, zebus...)and nice routines. There are also some men performing during the show like Michael and the Giant Wheel (he juggled, jumped over the rope and walked blindfolded in the exterior)...
A great show not to be missed! The ring master Joo Callati spoke clearly during the show, revealing some curiosities during the show!!

ZENSATION (STAR DUST INTERNATIONAL/PORTUGUESE TOUR)

It is an indiscrebable show, where dream becomes true. It combines many arts like poetry, dance, music, circus and theatre, reminding Cirque du Solei productions .  Zensation reveals the potential of man to the unbelivable.  After being in most european capitals, Shandong troupe presented 2 hours of mind-body integration under the big top in Passeio Ribeirinho/Lisbon-Alges. The program sarted with an evocation to the emperor soldiers, followed by Kunffu fighters. In Silk Flight, 2 monks talk about the movement  of 2 flags and Queen Composition is based in contorcionism.  The show ended when 18 girls rode a bike forming the Royal Peacock (golden clown in 1997 Monte-Carlo Festival).

VICTOR HUGO CARDINALI  2003

As far as we're concerned, this can be one of the best programs for 2003 season. The show opened with an impressive act with 8 lions an tigers. The circus director controls all the animals by his voice, presentig the canguru jump by one of his tigers. Victor Hugo Cardinali brings to taming its best as he also presents 8 well trained Frison horses, which standed on feet, formed 2 by 2, 4 by 4 and 8) and 4 elephants. There are other moments of great circus: the remarkable exercises of Linda Mary (who standing in a high level presented the bridge as she caught a flower underneath with her lips), the flying hats of Miguel ngelo, the triple salt by Mendes (Brasil-photo), the remarkable performance of Gulliver.
