Esta familia tem descend�ncia americana (Martons). Os av�s de Rui Luftman, Alfonse e Mitzie chegaram a Portugal na d�cada de 20, tendo sido propriet�rios de um circo com o mesmo nome. Rui iniciou-se como ciclista e aos 16 anos ja se apresentava em pista como cara-branca. O trio de palha�os surgiu mais tarde, formado por Rui, Cust�dia Noronha (sua esposa) e Maximo. Actualmente, e a substituir a m�e, encontra-se Adolfo. Trabalharam nos mais prestigiados circos, como Sarrasani, Barum, Busch-Roland, Krone (Alemanha), Moira Orfei (Italia), Vargas (EUA), Billy Smart (Inglaterra), Chen, Atlas (Portugal). Em 2001, realizaram uma digress�o pela Dinamarca. Desde 2002, que se encontram no Roncalli. Para mais informa��es www.luftman-clowns.com
This family comes from an american one: the Martons. Rui Luftman's grandparents arrived to Portugal in the 20's, and later on bought a circus with their name. Rui worked initially as a bicycle rider, being a white-face at the age of 16. The clown trio appeared some years later, formed by Rui, Custodia Noronha (his wife) and Maximo (son). Nowadays, the other son, Adolfo, took the place of her mother. They worked in the great circuses of the world: Sarrasani, Krone, Barum, Busch-Roland (Germany), Moira Orfei (Italy), Vargas (EUA), Chen, Atlas (Portugal). Este grupo de palha�os � formado por Antelmo (cara-branca), Teddy e David. Antelmo tem 54 anos e j� percorreu a Europa com os melhores circos: Moira Orfei, Embell Riva, Oscar Orfei, Darix Togni, Americano (It�lia), Corty Althoff (Alemanha), Dannebrog (Dinamarca), actualmente no Pinder (Fran�a). � casado com Em�lia Mariani e pai de David Gon�alves (casado com a antipodista C�tia Torralvo). Teddy, irm�o de Antelmo, � casado com Celeste Mariani. Esta parelha � a terceira gera��o de uma fam�lia de clowns. Teddy e Antelmo s�o netos de Em�lio Calderon.
This group of clowns is formed by: Antelmo (white-face), Teddy and David. Antelmo is 54, and has travelled through Europe with the most famous circuses: Moira Orfei, Embell Riva, Oscar Orfei, Darix Togni, Americano (Italy), Corty Althoff (Germany), Dannebrog (Denmark) and at the moment in Pinder (France). He is married to Em�lia Mariani. Teddy, Antelmo's brother, is married to Celeste Gon�alves and David, his nephew, to C�tia Torralvo. They are the 3 rd generation of famous clowns.
