Gregory Anso. Written in the year 1778.
Small voices in the back of my head whisper
I know that they are not there
But the moonlight shows me that there is a spirit there
And the voices are louder than the night
They are conquering my quietness
And I cannot sleep for I wake
And the dawn is unmerciful when I wake
But the nighttime still calls to me
And I am dancing within but I cannot feel happy
So when I sleep I dream
But when I dream I am living
When I sleep I am waking
When I dream I am finding myself
But those memories are lost every moment that I wake
Every time I am slipping away
I find that I can be someone
If I can just find myself
And if I can just make magick without
If I could only find a good guide
Then my journeys would be fulfilled
And I would wake and dream
Like tomorrow’s day
So let me wake and let me dream in tomorrow
