Ostara Ritual 2007

ritual for three people

1st Person: in the points of the triscicle i call Eos ("ey os") the Goddess of the dawn, come and bless our circle

2nd person: in the points of the triscicle, i draw the rune Eoh ("ey oh") *draw the rune on a piece of paper* for i call on my horses to move us forward into tomorrow

3rd person: in the points of the triscicle i draw the rune Dagaz ("day gaz") *draw the rune on a piece of paper* for the dawn of the new day to come

All say together: Spirit, Earth, Water, Fire, Air
We have cast the Circle here

1st person: Ostara is a time of new beginnings

2nd person: its the time of the vernal equinox

3rd person: the very beginning of spring (time)

All chant together:
We are the flow
we are the ebb
we are the weavers
we are the web

1st person: Welcome Ostara

2nd person: merry meet

3rd person: and merry part

All say/chant together:
May the Circle be open
but unbroken
may the peace of the Goddess
Be ever in your heart
Merry meet and merry part
...and merry meet again

1st person: I welcome the divine spirit

2nd person: i welcome the Godddess

3rd person: I welcome the God

1st person: May the Goddess and the God grow together

2nd person: and my the Great Rite bring new birthings

3rd person: to the new children and creatures

All say together: that are our future

*Everyone grab a piece of paper and draw the rune Ayerbo ("eye yer bo") on it. Ayerbo represents spring, new beginnings, joy, happiness, the Wheel of the Year, and the Wheel of Fortune)

*everyone hold hands now*

All say together: In the name of the MAiden, the Mother, and the Crone, this ritual has ended
