May Esbat Ritual 2007 (Esbat of the Flower Moon 2007)
1st person: The visage of the Summer Goddess can be seen in the face of the sun and in the faces of the moon
2nd person: She is all around us, in the bright sky and she is a Moon Goddess in the night sky as well.
1st person: *hold cord in your hands* With this cord I bring down the Maiden.By the knot of one, she’s become *tie one knot in the cord*
2nd person:*hold cord in your hands* By the knot of one, the cycles of the moon have begun *tie one knot in the cord*
1st person: *hold cord in your hands* By the knot of two, I bring down the Mother. By the knot of two, may the full rounded womb of the Mother bring a child anew. *tie a second knot in the cord*
2nd person: *hold cord in your hands* By the knot of two, a child comes anew. *tie a second knot in the cord*
1st person: *hold cord in your hands* By the knot of three, I bring down the Crone. By the knot of three, may wisdom come to me. *tie a third knot in the cord*
2nd person: *hold cord in your hands* By the knot of three, may the Craft of the Wise reveal itself to me. *tie a third knot in the cord*
*now lay down both of your cords between you and push the cords into the shape of a circle*
1st person: Three knots in this cord we’ve bound
2nd person: three for the seen faces of the Great and Merciful Mother Goddess.
1st person: To the Maiden, to the Mother, to the Crone
2nd person: to the earth, to the trees, to the seas, to that writ down in stone.
1st person: For the Enchantress moon, the unseen darkened face of the Moon Mother, I give to me and to you a special prayer and blessing for Her to reveal Her secrets to me.
1st person: Maiden, Mother, Crone, and dark of the moon
2nd person: to these four, they become our watchtowers in this circle we have cast tonight
1st and 2nd person: Spirit, Earth, Water, Fire, and Air,We have cast the Circle here.
1st person: To the sun father and the God I give my thanks. May these cakes be blessed by your grace *pass around cakes* and so may we never hunger
2nd person: To the moon mother and the Goddess I give my thanks. May these cakes be blessed by your grace *pass around the chalice of wine* and so may we never thirst
1st person: *pour in half of what is left in the bottle into the soil* and to the earth I give this wine in libation, a constant dream, motion to motion
2nd person: * pour the other half of what is left in the bottle into the soil* and to the earth I give this wine in libation, a constant journey, motion to motion.

Both say: To all who have come, let us be welcome and journey far.
Both sing: May the Circle be open
But unbroken
May the peace of the Goddess
Be ever in your heart
Merry meet and merry part
…and merry meet again
Both say: As I say so mote it be, for the Goddess and for me!
