Tea Leaves

When you start reading tea leaves, you'll need the obvious - a cup of brewed tea with the leaves loose in the cup. Try to drink at least three sips of the tea. If you can't finish it, then pour out all but about a teaspoonful. Some people wish to turn the cup so many times deosil in the saucer. This is personal preference. Now, you can take the cup and flip it upside down on the saucer. You may wish to have a paper towel under the saucer to catch any mess. Next, look inside the cup at the tea leaf formations. The formations closer to the handle represent an event closer to the present. The further back in the cup, the further into the future.

To interpret the leaves:
You may wish to interpret the leaves through a freestyle technique. In this style, you decide what each symbol represents to you, and make a "chain" to divine what it means. For example: I see a rabbit. So, my thought process goes in the following order. "Rabbit - fertility - pregnancy"

You may also wish to purchase a book with dream interpretations or tea leaf interpretations. These generally go hand in hand. Click below to check out Raymond Buckland's "Secrets of Gypsy Fortunetelling."
