| Activism and Pagan Rights Get involved! Help increase pagan awareness. We have the right to freedom of religion, and we have the right to be heard. I strongly encourage you to get active in your community with pagan awareness. Here are a few ways you can do so: *Keep an eye on local and national news for articles on religious discrimination. If you do find any, please email them to us here. *Join your local chapter of awareness organizations, such as the Witches' League for Public Awareness or Witches Against Religious Discrimination. *Visit the Pagan Unity Campaign website to find out about their activities. Right now, you may want to participate in the "I am" project. *Know your own rights. Keep a copy of the Pagan Bill of Rights. *If you're out of the closet, then get involved in the community. Do charity work, donate your time and energy to help out the community. If you're part of the coven, let people know. This definately helps the public image, as well as your self-fulfillment! |
