Members of the Catawba Valley Community College Circle K Club recently collected four carloads of Christmas gifts for the Angel Tree sponsored by the Salvation Army. One hundred and fifty angels with the ages and needs of children were picked up by CVCC students, faculty and staff and gifts of toys and clothes returned to Circle K members. This was the fourth annual Angel Tree Collection by the college. The CVCC Circle K Club presented the toys and gifts to the Salvation Army this week. Pictured with one carload of the toys and bicycles donated are (left to right) Hope Anderson of Statesville, CVCC Circle K member and Joshua Bledshoe of Conover, CVCC Circle K Club President.
