Taxes and The Power of Corporations

    You always here that the rich should be taxed more or that the rich don't pay enough in taxes. Well the rich do pay taxes it is just less then what the middle class and lower class pay because the rich find loop holes in the laws. They also have enough money to pay for attorneys and accountants, and persuade politicians to change laws or create legal loopholes.

    The rich use corporations as their loophole from a majority of the taxes issued to them. A main reason that not many people form their own corporations is because they do not know that a corporation is not a big building it is actually a filing cabinet in an attorney's office with government approval. It is not a group of people that work in a factory it is just a legal document that creates the shell of the business.

    Once the permanent income laws were passed it made the income tax rate for corporations less then the individual income tax. This help the rich even more because it was a legal way to save money from taxes by funneling it through a corporation.
