I went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand this summer with the People to People Student Ambassador Program. We left on July 4, 2002 and returned on July 26th. We prepared for the trip for 6 months previous to leaving by attending monthly meetings that gave us information about the countries we were going to visit. We got to know the leaders and other students during this time.
