Chandigarh Institute of Performing Arts (CIPA) was formed in the year 1992 primarily with the aim to propagate, develop and protect various branches of performing arts in India and abroad. CIPA is committed to dissemination of art and culture to educate the upcoming and budding artistes by giving them an opportunity to give expression to their inner urge through the medium of performing arts and various other cultural and artistic manifestations and in turn contribute towards the promotion of goodwill, fraternity and goodwill.

Headed by well-known theatre personality, Shyam Juneja, CIPA has produced more than 50 memorable, purposeful and meaning stage plays in its repertoire, organized cultural carnivals, ghazal shows, dance and singing competitions, produced telefilms, fashions shows, conducting regular classes in acting, dance, music, modeling, summer workshops, International workshops etc.
