The Chandigarh Institute of Performing Arts (CIPA) member of Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA), Mumbai have been conceived with the objective to produce quality, information and entertaining films and to impart comprehensive training in film acting to genuine aspirants to get a break in the film world.
Duration of Course
Three months - Certificate course
Classes - Monday to Friday 10.00 AM – 12.00 PM and
6.00 PM – 9.00 PM.
Admission On first come first serve basis. Persons having working knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi/English and possessing sound mind, good health and interesting in learning film acting can seek admission.
Syllabus Course covers
1. Characteristics of acting, development of mind, body and sound, voice, speech and modulations, movements and improvisation, emotions and expressions, imagination, diction, tempo, pace and rhythm.
2. Acting before camera
3. Lessons/scripts containing examples and practical exercises.
4. Film Dances
5. Short films shooting during the training.
Prospects Successful
students will be given suitable roles
according to their talent, taste and temperament
