The last few fans are passing through the turnstiles as they try to get to their seats before the show starts. Right outside the door stands a man dressed like Bret Hart, holding a sign that says "Will wrestle for food" Some might actually wonder if it isn't the real "Hitman" as this is his hometown... The camera switches to inside the arena and pyro starts exploding as Shockwave comes on the air. The fans jump to their feet and show their enthusiasm. As pyro starts exploding from the four corners of the ring, the camera settles on Spencer Jones and Smokey. Jones : Good evening folks and welcome once again to Shockwave. I'm Spencer Jones and along side me is my partner Smokey... Jones pauses and looks at Smokey who has just proceeded to drop the cap of his pen into a small glass of water. Jones : What the heck are you doing? Smokey : This is Pengrowth stadium right? Jones : Yes? Smokey : I'm trying to grow more pens. I figured you needed to seed it first though. Jones : ............... Smokey : The producer is warning us about dead air Spencer... you really need to focus. Jones : I need to ignore you is what I need to do. And it will be easy to do that as we have a great lineup tonight coming your way. Smokey : Ignore me? Not possible! Jones : And it all concludes with Five-time EFWO world champion Vanquish getting his shot at a record 6th world title when he faces off against Showtime. Smokey : You can't ignore me... Jones : But lets get right to our first match. |
