WORLD LEADER IN TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY
SLIPLINING - Techniques by which continuous or discreet pipes are inserted within existing pipes : examples include the pulling in of long lengths of PE pipes within water mains or the insertion of individual pipe within sewers. This is generally a low cost technique, which has the disadvantage of reduction of bore.
HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING

Steerable drilling units work with a steerable bore head, which can be located, guided and moved via drill rods, first, it is used for a small pilot bore. In the second stage, the bore head is replaced by a reamer, which is pulled backword through the pilot bore with the drill rods, enlarging the bore hole to achieve the required diameter. The new pipe intended for pulling in is connected to the reamer via swivel coupling and is directly pulled into the soil. Main application areas are house connecctions taking a longer and complicated course or parallel bores up to 100m in length. Rigs with pulling forces from 4 to 20 tons are mainly used for parallel bores and crossings beneath rivers in lengths up to 500m or maximum diameters of 600mm.
