AND FOREVER IN PEACE
You have to start somewhere... AND FOREVER IN PEACE was my first theatrical play, performed at Vassar College, and in many cases, everything about the production was a new experience.  Most of the cast, composed mainly of freshmen at the time, were new at this...  I was new at this...  Having most of my experience in film, I didn't realize just how friggin' hard it was to direct a theatrical piece.  The end result, apparently, really divided people -- some people told me they really loved the play, others said it (I quote) "was the worst thing" they've ever seen.  Well, it was a controversial subject, and I expected as such -- I tried to do something daring.  All the actors gave 150% -- I don't think I realised just how hard they all had worked until after it was over.  (My biggest regret.)  Being in Hollywood and now having direct exposure to professional actors working today, I can honestly say that I have yet to see a crew of people work so hard, and put up with so much.
AND FOREVER IN PEACE
