INDIANA JONES IMAGES
This page is designed as a special treat for those of you who "found" it within my site. So please, keep the notoriety and DON'T publish web links to this page, or give away the "secret"... At left is a photo I took way back in 1989, when the Orlando Disney/MGM showcase opened. This animatronic "Well of Souls" sequence was featured in "The Great Movie Ride", and as I didn't have digital cameras back then at my disposal (not to mention taking the picture under rushed circumstances in darkness), the photo came out VERY faded. I've tried to compensate the color and image with Photoshop...

The two images above are from Disneyland's "Indiana Jones and the Forbidden Eye" attraction, again enhanced through Photoshop. The right image is at the end of the ride, where the animatronic "Indy" wishes visitors farewell (he says different things each time, like "Tourists... Why'd it have to be tourists?"). The left image is when Indy appears, suspended from above, right before the giant boulder makes it's entrance...

Hmmm... WHAT do the above two photos have in common? Doesn't the beautiful woman on the left look striking in BOTH pictures? It is interesting to note that the photo on the right was taken in 1991 -- TEN YEARS after RAIDERS, and ten years before NOW! (Goes to show how well Ms. Allen has aged...) Of course, the guy on the left is probably the more likely suitor, but the guy on the right has youth on his side... What do ya say, Karen...? I'm still here!

At left, one of the most striking photos I've seen of Indy, as featured within the INSIDER magazine... Above, another cool photo from THE INSIDER magazine, featuring the pane of glass used to separate Ford from the cobra...
