Mission Statement Cinema + Haiku = Cineku Cineku is the Haiku Version of Cinema. Like Japanese Haiku poems Cineku ( Pronounced Cine �Koo ) is a unique new form of Cinema consisting of a very short film of 3 shots each, conveying a central idea in the briefest possible use of shots. RULES : 1. The film should consist of only Three shots 2. Shot length shouldn�t be more than 40 Seconds and the Maximum length of the film should be One Minute 3. There should not be any Optical or Computergraphic modification of images. In Camera effects are allowed. Haiku /hikoo/ noun (pl. same or haikus) a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five. (Oxford Dictionary) Haiku expresses much and suggests more in the fewest possible words. - (Encyclopedia Britannica ) "In Haiku the SOMETHING and the SOMETHING ELSE are set downtogether in clearly stated images.
