Spaghetti Sauce
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 Tablespoons oil
1 1/3 cups (12 onuces) tomato paste
2 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms (optional)
Saute onions, mix remaining ingredients in large saucepan, bring boil, simmer 30 minutes. Makes about 3 cups.
Boil spaghetti noodles, add one pack onion soup mix in boiling water for extra flavor.
