Heavenly Hash
Grandma Shook used to make this. Seems like we always had it at Thanksgiving. I remember many times standing in the kitchen slicing cherries to help her make this dish. I wonder how many times we forgot to put it on the table until half way though the meal?
1-1/2 cups rice
2 cups whipping cream
Big can crushed pineapple, drain
1/2 cup fresh miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup sliced maraschino cherries
Cook rice and refrigerate. Whip whipping cream. Mix pineapple, cherries and marshmallows with rice. Gently stir in whipped cream.
