Spinach Dip
2-10 oz. packages of chopped, frozen spinach
1 package vegetable soup mix
1 tablespoon onion soup mix
2 cups sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1-8 oz. can water chestnuts
Thaw spinach, squeeze out excess water. Finely chop water chestnuts. Mix ingredients well. Best if chilled at least two hours.
Black Forest Pumpernickel Bread
1 1/8 cups water
1 1/2 tablespoons oil
1/3 cup molasses
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 cup rye flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order given. Select "light crust" setting. Bake according to bread machine directions. Yield: 1 1/2 pound loaf.
