                                  HOPE

As I thought about writing out my hopes (something my therapist asked me to do), I realized that hopes and goals are very similar ~~~

First and foremost I hope for happiness, contentment, love, spirituality, freedom from depression and anxiety (and doctors and hospitals), to be an excellent mother, to have a purpose, and to love life -- This is the ultimate hope.

Here are some short term goals (I'm sure there are many I've left out, but this is what comes to mind today).  Many of these hopes build on each other and all build to the ultimate hope above:

~~  I hope to find a reason to get up in the morning.
~~  I hope to regain my spirituality and be able to meditate, pray and worship again.
~~  I hope to see the sunshine and colors and get rid of the big black cloud.
~~  I hope to get my energy back.
~~ I hope to find an activity that I can stick with that can build my strength, help me lose weight and feel good physically and mentally.
~~  I hope to start cooking again and provide Jack and I with healthy meals.
~~  I hope to get my home and yard in order and develop a routine, or find the help I need, to keep it that way.
~~  I hope to build a healthy, positive relationship with someone who can be my best friend and lover, to love and be loved, someone who I have common intersts with, and someone I can share the rest of my life with.
~~  I hope to build on the friendships that I have -- to be able to give back to them what they have given me -- much love and support.
~~  I hope to find something to do during the day to be a productive member of society instead of just being a burden.
~~  I hope to go back to work to a career that I will enjoy and excel at (I would like that to be part time, but finances probably wouldn't allow that).
~~  I hope to have the financial freedom to provide Jack and I things we need and want, (but I don't mean to be greedy, just modest means).
~~  I hope to support Jack emotionally and financially as he pursues his life goals over the next five or more years.
~~  I hope to be able to travel around this country and see as much of it's beauty as I can.
~~  I hope to be able to keep up with the trials and tribulations of life with a positive attitude.
~~  I hope the be the kind of person my dog thinks I am (a magnet that I have - sounds funny, but so true).

I Will NOT Give Up Hope!!!
