Tasuki is the hot headed, rouge bandit of the group. He's mostly there for the adventure. He loves a challenge. He has a big mouth though and it usually gets him into trouble. He's long on courage and stamina, but short on temper and patience.

Tasuki doesn't like women, except for Miaka. It's not that he's not atracted to them, it's just that they always seem to cause him trouble. He does admit to having feelings for Miaka. At one point in Fushigi Yuugi movie series, he even calls Tamahome to fight him for her. In the end all is forgiven and forgotten.
