Miaka is a young girl, who is studying for her entrance exams. Fate would make her the Priestess os Suzaku, in the Universe of the four Gods.

She finds true friendship in this strange universe. As she learns wonderful and difficult values of life, she also teaches the ones she loves what she hs learned. She is forced to mature in this harsh land. But, she does so gracefully, at least most of the time.

She loves her new friends and would suffer willingly to keep them safe......and they would do so for her as well.

She desperately wants to be reunited with her friend turned enemy, Yui. Her dream is to marry Tamahome, rekindle her friendship with Yui, and save the world (especially her seven warriors.)
