Take the styrofoam ball and push the stick into it until it reaches the center of the ball. Remove flowers from their stems. Glue the flowers and buds onto the ball mixing the buds the the full blooms. (It works best to put the glue on the flower instead of the foam) Fill the ball up. See figure #1

Place hot glue around the base of of the cup and attach to the saucer. Allow to dry a few minutes to be sure it bonds completely. Take a piece of Styrofoam and cut it to fit inside the cup. It doesn't have to be exact. (You might try using a Styrofoam half circle if you don't want to cut a piece) Once you have the foam snugly in place, push in the bottom of the stick that the flower buds are on. Take out the foam from the cup. (the stick should be attached at this point) Place hot glue around the rim just inside the cup and replace the foam and hold in place until the glue dries. Put a layer of glue on the top of the exposed foam and cover it with moss. See figure #2

Take your ribbon or rick rack and fold it in half. Hold the middle of the ribbon or rick rack, place a dab of glue onto it and attach it to the bottom of the stick. (just above the moss) Once attached criss cross the ribbon or rick rack back and forth up the stick until you reach the bottom of the flowers. (the ribbon will look sort of like "X"'s as it climbs up the stick) Glue into place at the top of the stick. You should have some excess to tie a bow. If you don't just add the bow using a different piece of ribbon or rick rack. Either way attach the bow with glue. See figure #3
