This page is dedicated to my loving husband, John.
I wrote the poem below and read it during our wedding ceremony.
I am truly blessed to be married to my "best friend."
The music playing is from our wedding as well.
Who Would've Thought
We met nine years ago this day,
At the altar we stand today,
Who would've thought

It started at Morris Paper, in Pittsburgh's strip,
A friendship so strong, it would never quit,
Who would've thought

Our friendship has blossomed into a magical love,
Because it's been blessed from our Father above,
Who would've thought

We have invited our friends, and families too,
To witness our vows, and praise our "I do's,"
Who would've thought

This has been a part of God, our Father's, big plan,
For he's known all along, I'd end up with this man,
Who would've thought

With God's blessing, you see,
Happily ever after we will be,
Who would've thought.
Two hearts, one love
Two promises, one covenant
Two lives, made one in Christ
These simple words may not mean much to some people, but they meant the world to us.  We took our vows very seriously and for LIFE.  So many folks today say "I do" then soon say "I don't."  I am happy to know that our marriage is blessed by God and will last the rest of our lives here on earth.  I must admit, other than my salvation through Jesus Christ, being married to John has made me the happiest I have ever been.
