| Above are some of the many birds that visit our backyards regularly. The ruby throated humming bird is a true joy to watch. The american goldfinch is interesting to follow as they turn colors with the seasons. The tufted titmouse visits year round, as does the house finch. The american robin usually flies south for the winter, but last year several stayed. It turned out to be a very mild winter here in Pennsylvania. Makes you wonder if the birds should be our weather forecasters....heehee | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Some of the other birds that frequent our area are, chickadees, carolina wrens, mourning doves, cardinals, blue jays, and a variety of sparrows. Occasionally we are lucky enough to have Baltimore orioles stop by. There are several types of birds that stop by for a visit while on their way to their breeding grounds up north or migrating south for the winter. |

| There are so many things that I have fun doing. In fact, I find new interests all of the time. In the winter months or when the weather is rainy, it's great to curl up on the sofa and watch a movie. I especially like comedies, dramas, and of course the "tear jerkers." Other indoor hobbies include playing on the computer, and chatting with my on-line friends. Going to antique malls and shops can take up a whole afternoon. Finding bargains at garage sales and flea markets can be worth getting up early on a Saturday, too. |
