Here is a picture of me and my honey bear, Jere, on our wedding day August 23, 1999. We were married at the foot of Pikes Peak Mountain the Monday after several of our friends ran the Half Marathon on Saturday and the Full Marathon on Sunday.... I could barely breath at the top of the mountain after driving up.... much less running (or rather climbing) up.
Anyway... our wedding was so beautiful. It was on the balcony of "The Black Bear Inn" which is a wonderful bed and breakfast that is the last place of "civilization" before heading up the mountain.....
