We adopted Anabella on May 11,2004.  She was resuced from the Rutherford County Humane Society by Tessa, her foster mom.  She has lived with her since February of 2004.  My husband and I fell in love with her little face when we saw her adoption ad and just had to meet her.  Anabella had rejected previous parents who had wanted to adopt her, but we hit if off right away--love at first sight!  She was meant to be ours.
Anabella is called Bella for short.  I picked it because it means "beauty".  She is such a little cutie pie with a beautiful heart.  She is living it up in her new forever home.  She sleeps snuggly between Mommy and Daddy and gets showered with hugs and kisses.  She has been introduced to the rest of the family and has been met with approval and even more hugs!
Anabella is a one year old Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix weighing in at 12 pounds.  Her hairdo is scruffy because she was severely matted when her foster mom rescued her. Her hair is silky soft and slowly but surely, growing in nicely to frame her big brown eyes. She is a lucky little girl to have found our home, and we are luckiest for having been given the gift of her.

Big kisses...she's a Daddy's girl!

Anabella has been ours for just over five months now.  We couldn't be happier.  She is such a little bundle of energy.  One of her favorite things to do is run laps through the house till she falls out from exhaustion. She loves to play and wrestle with her best friend, Lily-a toy poodle. She is a chewer and we have to keep her supplied with plenty of rawhide!  She loves going to the park and meeting new people and other dogs.  9-23-04
