Embarassing Moments
Adding to the Family

I went shopping on a Friday afternoon with a thousand things on my to-do list. I had so much to do that that my husband drove so that I could go over the list on the road. We went to the bank, the dentist and a thousand other little places that afternoon. On our last stop, at the grocery store, I got out at the entrance with the kids in tow. When I was finished I walked back out to the parking lot with the four kids and promptly walked over to our minivan. I swung the sliding door open and ordered the kids to get in their seats and put on their seatbelts pronto. As I was about to close the door, the kids started complaining. I ignored them, thinking that they were just being fussy after a long day. Just then the man in the driver's seat turned around, laughed and said, "Hey, I have enough kids of my own." I then realized in horror that this was not our van and that my husband was two cars away splitting his sides! I was so embarrassed!

Full Service

A few years ago, I went to a department to purchase new wind- shield wiper blades for my car. After shopping for about an hour I came out into the parking lot and approached my car. I happened to notice a cigar on the dashboard, which seemed peculiar since I don't smoke. But in any case, I proceeded to try to remove the old blades from the wipers. Just then I happened to look in the car again and this time I saw a very confused older man sitting at the wheel, laughing! I apologized profusely to this kindly old man and he told me that I could put the new blades on his car if I really wanted to. When I went in search of my own car, I made very sure that it was indeed mine!
