The Rules of the Game
Here are the stipulations of BWL play:

1. Each team is comprized of 3 players, two of which can be at any position in the field and the other must be pitcher and on the pitchers mound.

2.  A normal game is 5 innings.

3.  Two outs per half inning

4.  A starting pitcher must pitch 3 innings for the win and a pitcher may only pitch twice in a game.

5.  Any ball hit over the fences or off the foul poles is a home run.

6.  Any ball hit into the Davis Double Dish or that bounces over a fence is ruled a ground rule double.

7.  A hitter gets three strikes, the first two of which can be either fouls or misses, and the third of which has to be a miss.  There is no strikezone therefore there are no walks and there are no hit by pitches.

8.  There are no stolen bases, a player can leave the base after the hitter has made contact with the ball.

9.  If the field is considered wet or slippery and it is agreed upon by both teams there can be a third base overrun/slide rule similar to that of first base, but it can only be a short distance and only if considered necessary.

10.  Pitcher's mound poison is in play, so if the ball makes it to the pitcher on the mound before the runner reaches first base they are out.  Also, if a fly ball is caught and a runner on first when it is hit, if the fielder holding the ball tags the pitcher's mound before the runner makes it back to first, they are out.  Otherwise forces, tagging, etc. are the same as in baseball and there is no pegging.
