Events Overview

Almost one million Cincinnati residents and visitors have participated in classes, presentations, exhibitions and outreach programs sponsored by the Arts Consortium. From 1515 Linn Street and its satellite, the African-American Museum at Union Terminal, the Arts Consortium provides a venue for emerging and professional artists to showcase their talents in visual, literary, and performing arts.

Bein' Round Natti Town

Since 1993, the Arts Consortium's Satellite location at Union Terminal has hosted the Bein' Round Natti Town exhibit. Bein' Round Natti Town commemorates 150 years of African-American struggle and achievement in Cincinnati.

 

Special Events

Annual Breakfast in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

Each year the ACC hosts a breakfast in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. The "Dream Keeper Award" is presented to a Cincinnatian who has made significant contributions to the community, embodying the spirit and ideals of Dr. King.

The Cotton Club Gala

Another anticipated annual event is the Cotton Club Gala. The Cotton Club Gala is an array of theatrical display as well as the presentation of the "Calvin Day Award," for outstanding achievements in the arts."

1515 Linn Street

The Linn Street facility houses the Fred Bond Gallery, Paul Robeson Theater, dance and photography studios, the alcove gallery, a community meeting room, classrooms, kitchen and breakroom, and staff offices. Programs and services offered at the site include: Arts presentations-exhibition and performance, evening and weekend art classes for all ages, photography, literary clubs and workshops, as well as many other community outreach programs.
