| The Punjabi Cultural Society of Greater Cincinnati (PCS) celebrated its 2nd Annual Vaisakhi function at the Lakota East High School on Saturday, April 20, 2002. The festivities included a delicious Punjabi Cuisine followed by a wonderful variety show. Over 500 people attended and remained glued to their seats during the entire 3 hour show. The program began with young children's dances. The children looked awesome in their traditional dresses. These were followed by songs, dances, skit, Giddha & Bhangra. The audience was so much enthused that one of the spectators went up to the stage and performed a wonderful dance. It was a great experience for all of the community to get together and celebrate Vaisakhi. |
