Fund Raising Dinner for the victims of Sept 11
A fundraiser and tribute was organized on October 20, to collect funds for those affected by the Sept 11 terrorist attack. Over $ 4000 was collected and distributed to various organizations in NYC and locally.

Diwali and Gurpurab Celebrations
These were organized for the children and included an outing to see the famous Harry Potter movie followed by get-togethers with firework displays.

Punjabi Classes
There has been an ongoing effort to teach Punjabi language and heritage to our children. Classes are held at the Westchester Library. The interest in these classes has been growing and the need is felt for a new group at beginner level. For this we are soliciting volunteers from the community and also help in the form of teaching materials.
