Bayberry

BAYBERRY

myrica cerifera
myrica californica

Myricaceae

Fruit was used by Choctaw Indians as a tea, and later
the root bark was included in Samuel Thompson's
famous cold and flu formula.

Astringent action of root bark abates diarrhoea,
haemorrhages; and as a gargle, soothes sore throat.
It is often used for its astringent properties.

Suggested Extract Use: As an herbal dietary supplement,
take 1 full dropper daily with a meal.
1 dropper is equal to 1/4 teaspoon.
