Magick in Nature

This week on The Spiral Dance Nature will be the center of tonight's theme this week's in one way or the other.

It's said that whenever King Arthur's knights began their quest for the grail, they plunged straight into the wilderness where the woods are thickest. I want to share with you an article on "Wilderness Magick".

There are many customs associated with bones. In many traditions, one is taught to be careful not to break any of the bones of the game that one kills, in the belief that if the skeleton was kept intact, the animal could come back to life - thus ensuring future game for the community. So, as we look at Nature, we'll delve into "Bone Magick".

The idea of working inside the confines of the natural world is at the very heart of the natural philosophy of magic and the use of nature's energy. Elementalism, to a lesser extent, is a key to power in the nature magic theory.

And, later in the show - Yogurt! I hope you enjoy this week's show!

Some of the music you'll hear on this week's show include: Waterboys: "Church Not Made of Hands"; Delores Keane: "Solid Ground"; Cultureblend: "Beneath the Cottonwoods" ; Desert Wind: "Gaia, Earth Goddess"; Vox Pop: "Hymn to Gaia" and more.

Please listen to The Spiral Dance with Hawthorne each week! It's an online Pagan radio show (Webcast & Podcast).
