Pomegranate seeds have beem used as a remedy for tapeworm
since the time of the ancient Greeks.
Its high tannin content makes the rind of the fruit an excellent
astrngent for internal and external use:
for skin problems
as a gargle for throat and mouth irritation
as a virginal douche
for diarrhea
