CIMASCH Service Unit Meeting Notes

Scavenger Hunt Food Drive
- We collected over 2000 items for the Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program (RACAP).  RACAP is our local food bank and it helps families in and around our area through donations.  The girls had a lot of fun collecting the items and tallying the points in the scavenger hunt.  The troop that collected the most points was Troop 2097.  They won $25.00 towards a pizza party.

Troop Report - Please make sure you fill out a Troop Report and submit it each month at the service unit meeting.  If you cannot make it to the meeting, then send a representative for your troop with the report.  The information off this report goes onto a spreadsheet that Milda maintains.  She has to report to the Council and this is where she gets the information.

Christmas Party - The CIMASCH Service Unit Christmas Party will be held on Friday, December 2, 2005 starting at 6:00 PM.  Please do not be late.  The roads will close for the parade that starts at 6:30 PM.  It will go right by the Knights of Columbus Hall for our viewing pleasure.  We will also have the stockings for the Stuff-a-Stocking.  We are looking for some artificial Christmas trees to donate to families that may have need one.  We also need troops to sign up to be in charge of a craft of making ornaments for the trees, and clean up.
We will have cookies and punch.  You can buy pizza by the slice if you are wanting dinner.  From 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM there will be a DJ'd dance.

Project Care - We collected some holiday clothing items last month for the Marion Project Care (a nonprofit group that helps local families).  There was a large amount of clothing collected and brought to the service unit meeting for Janice to take to the Marion Project Care this month.  Thank you to everyone that helped with this clothing drive.  I am sure the families that recieve the beautiful holiday clothes will be very happy.

Leader Ledger - When you or your troop representative signs in at the meeting be sure to pick up your folder out of the crate on the same table.  Every troop has a Leader Ledger in their folder.  This is used as a form of communication with Milda so that she can answer questions or direct you to resources that you are needing for an event or meeting.

Fall Products - Terri is missing one frog.  Please check and see if your troop received this incintive.  We had a good sale.  If you want to order more products, you may call Terri before November 25.  If you can't get rid of products, let Terri know immediately.  All paperwork is due on the 28th.

FOGS - Friends of Girl Scouting - Please turn in your envelopes to Sally no later that December 2.  You can bring them to the Christmas party.  We are wanting 100% participation.
