Bank Accounts - Joyce - All accounts need to be closed and reopened due to tax ID #. Each troop must fill out paperwork and have it signed by Janice. 2 signers per troop and 3rd signature will be Joyce, our Service Unit Treasurer. We will continue to use Schertz Bank & Trust.
Registration - Tammy - CIMASCH goal of 185 girls and 142 adults registered by Sept. has been met. There are still two registration rallies left. Volunteer list was sent around. 5th grade girls will be providing girl activities at the rallies. (See Edie for rally information.)
Events - Leslie - Each troop has an Event Folder provided for the annual overview of activities and required paperwork
SHARE - Leslie - (Share Her Actual Real Expenses) - Presented campagn information and award patches are available to the donors.
Public Relations - Abbie - Please forward all GS awards, pictures, community service, etc. (GS or not-related, i.e.: school awards) can be included for PR purposes.
Leader/Assistant Leader Nametags - Milda - GSSWT nametags are being ordered. They are $4.00 each. Let Milda know if you would like one.
Resource Rebates Program - Val and Christina - They explained the program and why you can get more out of meetings and trainings. Get paid in Resource Rebates. Green forms are for returning leaders. Yellow forms are for new leaders. Every month you turn in your form at the SU meetings and the next month you will pick up your earned RR from your file.
Training - Joyce - Please fill out training forms and get them to her. This is to let her update her records on current and past trainings you have taken. She will also keep track of your Leadership Development Pin and Leaves.
Library - Joyce - Watch for library list coming up or call her for specifics prior to posted list. Our library has lots of books for meetings, crafts, important women in history and more.
Orientation - Melissa - Next Orientation will be Sept. 18 at the Schertz Civic Center at 6:30PM. You do not need to register to attend. Just show up. New leader kits are being put together. If you have ideas, contact Melissa. Mentors wanted! If you are interested in being a mentor for a new leader, please let Melissa know.
Delegates - LaDonna - Association Nominating Committee "Drive" - We are looking for people to serve on this committee and help find new CIMASCH Delegates and Delegate Alternates by October. Nomination forms are available - contact LaDonna.
Teen Program - LaDonna - We are hoping to put together an open format for Studio 2B council activities to provide Safety-Wise adults and transportation for girls interested in attending events without having troop participation required. All Studio 2B CIMASCH girls are included. Check out events and contact LaDonna if you are interested and we'll try to put together a carpooling group.
Registration Rally Flyers - Milda - Flyers and school permission/authorization forms are here! Pick up tonight or see Milda. Contact Milda if you need flyers or Program & Training Guides for the girls in your troop.
October Event - Joyce - River City Gymnastics Night - $15.00 per girl. We have overnight gym use, pizza and donuts. Coaches are provided in early hours. Safety-Wise adults are needed. 50 max. Brownie Night and Older girls night separate. Patches will be sponsored by Randolph Realty. See "current" page for more details.
School Liasons - Milda - Please provide dates of events where flag ceremonies could be used - contact Linda or your school's liason.
MDE - Janice - All trainings in our area are on a "short list" provided to us tonight.
CBC - Everyone does need a background check now - troop leaders, money handlers, girl supervision, drivers or campers - you have to fill one out.
Tax-Exempt Forms - They are available online for GSSWT council.
Council ID Sets - They are available for $.80 each. If you need the complete set, then you pay $4.00 and also get the GSSWT ID.
Uniform Sale - Sep. 4-15 uniforms are on sale at the shop or with Janice. They are 15% off!
Rolling Oaks Mall - Janice - September 15th from 10:00AM - 6:00PM will be a recruiting rally for all surrounding areas. Activity-based day. If your troop would like to bring an activity to share for a portion of the day, please come to share. Science, camping, cookies are some ideas. Let Janice know what size area you will need and any set-up needed (table, chairs, etc.)
Spurs of Silver (similar to the Lone Star Trooper Award) is available .
