ERIC
It was a cold, windy October day, when you died and left my world so gray. I can still remember your last screams and the glistening tears falling from your eyes.
I told you not to ride in the street, but you never thought it was your end you would meet. We saw the truck, but it was too late, I shut my eyes to block out your fate.
I heard a thud, and then your scream, and I prayed to God it was only a dream. A few days later, you were put in the ground, and I became quiet, never making a sound.
Sometimes I can't believe you're really gone, you always swore you'd never leave me alone. When I see all them other girls with their guys, I feel the warm tears slide from my eyes.
If you were here, I know what I'd do, I'd stay by your side and always be true. I wish I could have you 'til the end of time, but even though you're gone, you'll be forever mine. |
