| Our first year was a smashing success! Our day started at H&I Smokers in Canton, MI. There we were treated to a very nice buy 3 get one free offer which everyone made good use of. From there we headed to La Casa Del Habana in Plymouth. Again here we recieved the Buy 3 get one free offer. The owner Ishmail Houmani opened up the privated members only lounge for our herfing pleasure. From ther it was on to Smokeys of Lavonia to paruse their vast humidor. Next it was on to the very homey Trader Toms in Northville. Her Jan and Larissa treated us to some good down home attention and service. The kind you used to get when grandpa smoked cigars. They also were kind enough to hold a raffle of some very fine cigar accessories for those attending our event. The ladies allowed us to take over the shop and lounge area for a good while. We smoked the place out. Many a seasoned herfer was sent runing from the store for air. I must say the aroma was beyond description. All those cigars, it was wonderful. Still brings a tear to my eye. From here it was on to the mother store. JR cigars of Southfield. Boxes and bundles were flying everywhere. Gregg the manager treated us all to two very fine complimentay cigars from their collection. One was a Hoyo De Monterrey Prensado Oscuro. One of my personal Favorites. JRs was also kind enough to donate many fantastic items that given out during a drawing at the dinner later. After many childrens collage tuitions were blown we headed over to Copper Canyon in Southfield for our feast. Our dinner included choices of beef, chicken, fish or pasta with all the sides and a cash bar. Let me say the service here was phenominal. We puffed and puffed and all they did was bring more ashtrays. Each guest recieved a pack of 9 cigars provided by some of our terrific sponsors. After dinner we held a drawing for the many wonderful door prizes provided by our very generious sponsors. Beyond that was a herf the likes of which this town has only dreamed of. It went on some time into the night. If you missed this, do yourself a huge favor and DON'T ever miss it again. Check out the pictures below.
