 CIGA is a not-for-profit
501(c)(3) organization, staffed by volunteers and funded by donations and sales, located in Central Illinois. We are a support group who helps to move greyhounds from the Dubuque track to adoption groups throughout the country and in Canada. We also help to pay the veterinary bills for injured dogs.

| On October 18th, 32 retired racers were moved from Dubuque, IA to Erie, PA with a stop in Cleveland in between. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the two drivers. For the second time, Jimmie Black, a very special Dubuque dog owner, and Jason Satori gave of their time and drove Jimmie�s hauler to deliver the dogs. We are very grateful.

| This past season we moved a total of 100 dogs to other groups who will find them forever homes. Thirteen of those dogs had broken legs, and they were all taken in by Quad Cities Greyhound Adoption where they could recover and eventually go into homes of their own. Thank you Janet and to all the Quad Cities volunteers. You have given the broken leg dogs a place to go and the care they needed.

 Lue�s Pride (Pride)�born on 3-13-97, 78 lb. red fawn male. Rk�s Sod Savage x Cy�s Kid Giana. Pride was returned to QCGA through no fault of his own and is being fostered in the Peoria area. He�s a bit shy, especially with men, but he will warm up to people after awhile. He loves to cuddle with anyone who will sit on the floor with him. He loves walks and loves to play with the foster family�s other greyhounds. He is a gorgeous boy (Look at that face!) who needs a home and a family of his own. Cat safe.
