Not a day goes by,
When we don't think about you or cry.
Thinking about you sweet niece,
Knowing that in Heaven you are at peace.
We miss you and have cried many tears,
But never doubting or having any fears.
Fears of forgetting that big, beautiful smile,
The smile that touched us in your adorable style.
We look at the brightest twinkling star to the west,
And know that it's your glittering eyes shining the best.
You blessed our hearts with your short time here,
I just can't believe it's already been a year.
You were mommy's little fussy pants,
Why did He take you before you had your first step or dance?
It makes us so angry that he took you from us so soon,
But now you are the star that shines even brighter than the moon.
You knew what the real meaning of love really was,
Which is what a perfect niece like you does.
And Will could never forget his little sis,
Since you filled his heart with love and eternal bliss.
If I could I would do anything to bring you home,
Even though you are not up in heaven on your own.
Although the next time we meet may be long,
Our love for you Ciera will forever stay strong.
