You gave me rides that let me know the kiss of the wind on my face.
You took me fast and faster to know the daring of being in the chase
carrying our spirits in a race that would not be broken.
We danced in raindrops and felt the bite of snow on our skins.
I hugged your body trusting that our journey was safe in the adventure.
I listened to you as we explored worlds seen and unseen
knowing when it was time to rest and return home you would take me there
with a gentle gait.
The kiss of the winds
Dance of raindrops
Bite of the first touch of snowflakes
Daring in the race with confidence in the journey
Seeing visions
While embracing the earth
Coming home to gentle rest.
All live in me today.
Your spirit is majestic
As we ride.
