Gentle warrior
Touching love
With words
for just a minute to hear and know
if it lives
deep in the belly�deep within the fire
Angry warrior
At injustices seen and heard
With a knowing that is immediate
Of the pain that will walk as a result of
The mistakes and the wrongs
Laughing warrior
Loving the play
Of the games of life
And the delight of the dance
Of breathing
So many
looking for their warrior
Looking to another to see themselves
in the mirror of the other's face
When they have not faced the warrior within
And met themselves
as their own gentle, angry and laughing
Images of light and dark
Only when the warrior of self has been owned
Can you meet the warrior of another
And begin the warrior's dance
Of the sacred journey
Walk the sacred journey
Gently touch the earth
Warrior of light
Knows the dark
And so
has a clear vision of all
