He is there
Silent in his walk
Ever mindful of his task
Seldom seen but always there
His spirit is carried through the forest air
You can feel his eyes ever watchful
Of your moves
You feel no fear
But calm and peace
For the prince of the forest
Has been sent you see
To guide you on your journey
And to quiet and ease your fears
When night descends upon Mother Earth
And you lay your body down to rest
Let the howling of his kin
Whose song echoes on the wind serenade
Knowing in his safety you will sleep
Many of his family live and roam this land of ours
But only one wears the title
Prince of the forest
And Black Wolf
Is his name
