| 2 dias / 1 noche Omas Ubicacion: 160 km al sureste de Lima Nivel 3. Todo el año Distancia total aproximada: 110 km Rango de altitud: 0 – 1540 m.s.n.m. Viaje hermoso pero físicamente exigente por el valle casi seco del río Omas. Empezamos en Asia atravesamos el desierto hasta que entramos al valle de Omas, pasando por Coayllo, pueblo tranquilo donde podemos reabastecernos. Desde aquí el largo en camino afirmado va subiendo poco a poco por el valle. Primero vadeamos el río para pasar a la otra orilla y pronto llegamos a Uquira, extenso sitio arqueológico inca, luego pasamos por La Yesera y el sitio arqueológico Los Gentiles. Descansamos en la ramada junto al camino frente a Huañañabe, luego seguimos hasta Cata donde volvemos a descansar y reabastecernos. Reiniciamos la marcha y volvemos a vadear el río para seguir la fuerte subida de Unchor, Callangas hasta Esquina de Omas. Desde aquí el valle se torna más verde hasta llegar a Omas, bonito pueblo con una pintoresca plaza central y buen restaurante donde sirven excelente comida. Pasamos la noche en el Hotel de la Municipalidad, básico, bueno, limpio y cómodo. Al día siguiente visitamos el pueblo y sus alrededores. Al medio día iniciamos el retorno ahora rápido fácil y de bajada hasta Coayllo para almorzar y luego seguir hasta Asia. De Lima a Asia en bus ida y vuelta. En Lima traslado ida y vuelta desde su hotel a la estación de bus. Sol, aire puro, naturaleza, relax, paisajes, comida típica, río, buen clima, libertad, gente amable. 2 days / 1 night Omas Location: 160km south east of Lima Level 3. Further on the side of the way in front of Huañañabe village a wooden shade waits for us with fresh shadow before arriving Cata, small village to rest and get supplies and energy to overcome the river one more time and ride the steep ascent of Unchor, Callangas up to Esquina de Omas. From here the valley turns greener and after a few ascents and descents arrive Omas, nice town with a picturesque central park nad a good restaurant serving excellent food. Overnight in the Hotel of the Municipality, basic, good, clean and comfortable. The next day after resting and visiting the town and surroundings, about at noon departure, now the ride is easy, fast and downhill, to Coayllo to have lunch and finally to Asia. From Lima to Asia by bus, round trip. In Lima transfer round trip from your hotel to the bus station. Sun, pure air, nature, relax, landscapes, local cuisine dishes, river, good climate, freedom, nice and friendly people. |
