Update:
October 26, 2003 -
I will be trying to get my page updated as much as possible. Been really busy for a while and somethings just get left undone or forgot about, but here is my attempt to get it updated.
October 23, 2006 -
I sold my '97 Kia Sephia. I know I will missing having fun racing it and doing burnouts, but sometimes you just got to let things go.
September 26, 2006 -
Got me a new Toy!!! I got a 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660R.
March 9, 2006 -
Got a new Toy... got me a 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra Converible.
March 24, 2004 -
I got my '91 Civic back from the shop finally! It runs, but too rich! I also got me a new toy... a 2002 Yamaha R1. I was thinking of getting a project Hot Rod, but this beat it!
November 2003 -
I picked up a new ACT pressure plate, because the old pressure plate would only work with the S1 tranny and since I went back with the YS1 tranny this had to be changed out. I bought a HASport shift linkage on the 19th. I figured since the engine was out and it would be easier to install the new shift linkage. Also just to make shifting so much nicer and more like stock from the custom made shift linkage that worked, but caused miss shifts.
October 2003 -
The shop installed my new rear beam. The old Civic Si one & the '90 CRX one had to be modified together to work. The beam was the same, but the steering gear box was different, so the Civic Si one had to be installed to the CRX beam. With all this done the Civic can now roll and is ready for the engine to be dropped back in.
September 2003 -
Took my '91 Civic to a shop to finish doing the work that I started. Didn't have time to work on it, so off it went. Got my mounts back from HASport and they look great!
August 2003 -
Sent off my HASport mounts to get repaired! Also changed the transmission back to a LS trans (YS1) from the one that was on the engine (S1) which made driving the car on the Hwy not any fun when the RPM's where hitting 5 grand in 5th gear..
July 11, 2003 -
I have recently sold my black '94 Civic coupe around the end of June.
June 25, 2003 -
I have now removed my engine and transmission from my 1991 Civic Si (teal), to fix some of the things that have gone wrong. My HASport engine mounts... the urathane is starting to fall apart and I am going to be sending them off to HASport to get them fixed. I am sure it has been caused from the rear mount which has been vibrating quite a bit and has caused the rear cross member beam to get a large crack in it. I have removed the old cross member beam and will be installing a new one from a doner 90 CRX. The axles need to be replace since the boots are torn, and with the different transmission I need different axles. I have swapped out my S1 tranny for a YS1 tranny for the longer gears rather then the short ones. While the engine and tranny are out of the Civic I think I will also upgrade the made shift linkage for the HASport shift linkage to make it more complete.
February 28, 2003 -
Just got some more parts for the CRX, and a few more for the 94 Civic. Got the rear hatch plastic covers from a Si CRX, and headliner from a 90 CRX DX. I also got a stock radio plug from a 95 Civic coupe so I can install the stock radio that was once in the 92 Civic Hatch. I still have to install the stuff into the CRX, and then I will update the pictures. Got some parts for the 94 Civic to replace some of the parts. I got a gas door, because the one that was on the car was flat black and had a texture to it. I also installed a CD player into the 94 Civic that was in the doner 90 CRX DX. It's not a fancy one just some cheapy, but I can't beat the price...FREE! I still have to post a updated picture of the interior in the 94 Civic pretty soon.
February 25, 2003 -
I just installed a new radio antenna in the 94 Civic, because the stock one that was on the civic was messed up. The metal antenna was bent and wouldn't go all the way down, and the end of the wire was cut off and didn't have the plug anymore.
February 23, 2003 -
Just got some new parts for the CRX and the 94 Civic. Got a new dash gauge bezel pod in black, and a radio console insert with ash tray and lighter from a Si CRX. Got some parts for the 94 Civic to replace the parts that where painted blue, and a new E-brake console since the one that was in the car was busted. Will post a updated picture of the interior in the 94 Civic pretty soon. New pictures of the CRX interior are now posted.
February 15, 2003 -
The CRX picture of the interior with the new dash is up now. I need a few more things and then the CRX will be all complete. The 92 Civic Hatch just got a new stereo installed a KENWOOD CD player. The stock radio is going to be installed into the CRX that way the CRX will have some tunes.
February 13, 2003 -
Just removed and replaced the dash in the CRX with the Black/Gray dash out of a 90 CRX. I still have to install the glove box, and shifter console. I will have to replace my blue gauge bezel with a black one from a 88-89 sometime since the gauge bezel from the 90 Civic and 90 CRX are different. I will take some pictures of the interior after I installed a few more things, and post them up tomarrow.
January 29, 2003 -
Got a new car on January 24th, it's a Black 1994 Honda Civic DX Coupe. I just got a couple new things for the 94 Civic... A silver LED shift knob that lights up blue, and some Carbon Fiber Altezza tail lights. Some of the interior pieces have been painted blue, but I am slowly going to be removing the blue for the stock black/gray color in the interior.
January 21, 2003 -
Some big changes for the CRX. The stripped out interior is slowing getting back to stock. I found a parts CRX and am slowing getting it looking new. I still have to remove the blue dash and replace it with the black/gray one. I will have some new pictures of the CRX as I go along.
December 04, 2002 -
Got the front bumper and rear bumper of the body kit installed today. Now I am thinking of painting the Civic a new color rather then keeping it the stock Teal color and going with White for that real clean look or the Subaru Impreza blue. Also just got a new car added to the Import garage a 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback.
August 30, 2002 -
Just took the 91 Civic to the track today and ran 14 second times all day. I will scan and post up my best time slip for the Civic so far as soon as I have time. Will post up some new pictures from the track soon also.
August 15, 2002 -
The Miata just got a new timing belt, waterpump, drive belt, and new seals. The timing belt went out on it about a week or so ago, but is back up to running condition again. Got a new car added to the Garage and family of Honda's... a 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback. Pictures of the new Civic will be up shortly.
May 31, 2002 -
I got a VIS Racing Full Body Kit for my 1991 Civic Si for my birthday, thanks to my woman. Now I just have to get it installed and painted and my Civic will look BAD @ss! I will take some pictures of the body kit before its installed and post them later.
March 31, 2002 -
I just got some new pictures of the Miata with the new Euro Clear Tail Lights.
March 27, 2002 -
Got the differential installed on the Miata a while ago, also installed the new Euro Clear Tail lights. Will be taking some pictures of the Miata with the new tail lights as soon as the weather gets a little bit nicer. Swaped out the Integra rims off the Kia and got new Nitto tires for them and installed them on the Miata. Got the HASport motor mount kit installed in the Civic, which caused the shift linkage to get messed up, so now I have to get a new shift linkage for the Civic
March 05, 2002 -
Just got my Vicous LSD differential yesterday, and going to be getting it installed pretty soon. Got my Euro Clear Tail Lights the ones that look like Altezza today. I will be installing them as soon as I get the differential installed. They give the car a cleaner more newer look to it. Tomorrow the 1991 Civic will be getting the motor mount kit installed.
Febuary 26, 2002 -
Just picked up a HASport Motor Mount kit for my 1991 Civic, since the rear mount that where made for it broke.
Febuary 24, 2002 -
Well I found a differential for the Miata and I will be getting it pretty soon. Its a used stock Vicous LSD differential that some Miatas came stock with. Mine didn't come with this type of differential. I also ordered some Euro Style Altezza tail lights for the Miata and will be getting them pretty soon. Can't wait to see what they will look like on the Miata. I haven't seen any of the Miatas around here with them so mine will look different then the others.
Febuary 19, 2002 -
I took back the aftermarket muffler that I got for the CRX. I called a muffler shop and they told me for them to make a custom pipe for the rear section for the car that it would be $100 bucks, so I desided to just go to a junk yard and pick up a used one for only $40 bucks instead. Later when I deside on what full cat-back to get I will change the exhaust.
Febuary 16, 2002 -
Just picked up a Aftermarket muffler for the CRX. Not sure of the make of the muffler right now. Thinking of making it come straight out from the passenger side under the bumper, but not to sure just yet on how that will look since the cut out for the exhaust is on the driver side of the bumper.
January 04, 2002 -
The Kia just got some new spark plug wires, because one of them went bad on me. I also took the Miata to a transmission shop, because I was having some problems with it and was told that it could be the pressure plate. Come to find out the clutch is fine and that I need a new differential since the one that is on it is gone. I found a used VLSD differential for the Miata with 30,000 miles on it, which will cost $275.00.
December 04, 2001 -
Just added 5 new pictures. 2 of the Miata (pedals and Interior), 1 of the CRX's new pedals, and 2 of the Kia from when I took it off roading with it all dirty looking like a rally car.
November 17, 2001 -
Just added 2 of the actual time slips one of the Kia's best time and the Miata's only time slip. Also added a picture of the Kia under Kia Time Slips.
October 26, 2001 -
I just got some pedals for the CRX and the Miata today and got them installed. Have been working on the page adding some cool things to the site, but can only see the glowing (like on this page) around the words if you have Internt Explorer.
October 19, 2001 -
I added a wav file of my Kia racing. When you enter the Kia Time Slips page you will now hear the sound my Kia makes while racing at the track. The new pictures of the CRX are up. Sometime I will have some pictures of the Kia when I took it offroading. Sometime in the summer the Miata's presure plate broke and am now needing a new clutch.
Sept. 25, 2001 -
Made a Banner for my page. It's nothing to special. It can be found on my links page.
July 11, 2001 -
The CRX got clear corner and bumper lenses. Some new pictures of the CRX are coming soon.
July 10, 2001 -
Got the CRX back and runs great. Still got a 1.5L in there, and is really slow, but all I care about right now is that it runs good. The CRX also got a new stock front bumper and some other little cosmetic things done to it to look better. The 1989 Civic Si is now gone and sold.
June 2001 -
The '89 Civic Si got picked up and dropped off the CRX a few days later to have the engine swapped. The engine in the '89 Civic Si was broke the crank shaft bent making the pulley rub on the timing belt casing, and a motor mount was bent. The CRX was still going to get a engine swap to make it run good.
May 18, 2001:
Got the Civic back from the shop about a week or so ago with its new Clutch, and it is running as good as new again. Going to be taking it to the track this weekend and hoping for it to break into the 14's N/A. Got the pictures of the Miata now up, including one of it doing a burnout. Also got a couple new ones of the CRX interior up.
May 3, 2001:
Took the Kia to the track at a April Import event that got rained out. Only got one time run that day. Took the Kia to the track yesterday and ran it with Nitrous. Got a best time of 14.892 @ 92.84mph. All new time slips are posted up. I am going to scan the best time slip and put it up sometime.
April 24, 2001:
Took the Miata to the track on Sunday to see what it would run. Ran a 16.655 @ 82.82mph. Not to bad for only having 116hp at the flywheel. There is now a Page for the Miata time slips now. The pictures of the Miata have been developed and will be scanned and up within the week hopefully. Took some pictures of the Miata at the track and will have to wait to get that film used and developed.
April 20, 2001:
Last week got my headlight conversion kit for the Miata, and got them installed. Got some more pictures taken of the Miata so they will be up really soon. The '91 CIvic Si is in the shop getting a new clutch. The car was burning a little to rich, so hopefully all the problems will get solved while in the shop. I am now going to be calling my Honda Garage... The Import Garage now that there is more then just Honda's in there.
March 31, 2001:
Just added a couple of drawing that where done by my girl. One of the Kia and one of the Miata. They can be found on the kia and the miata pages.
March 28, 2001:
Just got a new car yesterday, well new to me. A 1991 Mazda Miata MX-5. Ordered some Low Profile double Headlights for it today. Took some pictures of the Miata and will get them posted some time soon when the film is developed.
March 19, 2001:
Added the pictures of the broken Civic's Integra Transmission.
Febuary 27, 2001:
Got the Kia back from the shop on Friday with it's new transmisson. Runs great now... No more 2nd gear pop-out, or 3rd gear grind. Took it to the track on Sunday to see what It would do with the NOS. Ran a 15.143 @ 91.90mph. So got the Kia Time Slips updated. Only got one run off the NOS, because I cut a NOS line when I closed the hood I guess. I got that line fixed, and it's good as new now. I ordered a blow down tube for the NOS, and should be getting that in a few days.
Febuary 10, 2001:
Well I found out what is all wrong with the Kia now. The clutch was replaced, but the rest of the clutch components where not replaced when it got a new clutch, which caused damage to the transmission. Now the Kia is sitting at the tranny shop getting a new transmission and the rest of the clutch components and I am going to have to pay over $1,400 bucks for all this work to be done. At least it is cheaper then the Kia dealer was going to charge me, they wanted $1,600 just for the transmission and labor. Hopefully all the tranny breaking will be over with now. I have taken some pictures of the wrecked transmission from the civic, so sometime I will have the pictures uploaded.
Febuary 03, 2001:
Got the Civic back finally, but I have a long list of stuff that is going wrong with it... Engine runs and sounds funny, Ignition isn't working, RMP Gauge, Gas Gauge, and Temp Gauge don't work, Clutch is gone, Serious Engine vibration, Throttle feels funny, holds RPMs and gas is jerky when it hits, and the Turn signals don't work either. I checked all the fueses and replaced any that where bad, still I don't got any signals. What is funny is that the car ran just fine when I went to pick it up, the only thing was that the pulley was rubbing. The Kia just went off to the shop yesterday, because on Thursday night the gears all became nutral. The Kia delear said Transmission. So I deside to call a transmission shop thinking I would get it replace cheaper then the dealer and they tell me that it might just be the clutch from the sounds of it. They stated that something might have come off, but thats Kia for ya, cheaply made. That would be nice, because that is a lot cheaper then a tranny. So the Kia is not going to the track tomorrow. So I will find out what is really wrong with the Kia in a few days or so.
January 27, 2001:
The Kia just got NOS equipted yesterday, so updated the Kia page. Will take a new engine picture sometime soon. The track opens in about a week and I am planning on taking the Kia to see what it will run with the 50 shot Fogger.
January 23, 2001:
Well here is the updates... The engine wasn't that bad off it had just broke a bolt off which bolted the engine to the tranny, so I just have one less bolt holding the engine to the transmission which isn't no real biggie. So I am not going to be using the new engine that I bought, and I will just have a spare. Also got a new axle, and some of the motor mounts where redone. Now the only thing is that one of the pulleys is rubbing on the fender wall, and will need to bend or remove some of it so that it will fit right and not rub anymore. As for the NOS I still don't think I am going to be running the Direct Port. Thinking about maybe going Turbo, but if I do deside on keeping the NOS on the Civic I am going to drop the shot down, and get that Fuel Pump that I need. I also picked up a NOS Fogger system on Friday for $200 bucks and going to be getting it installed on the Kia sometime. As soon as I get the Civic back I will take some pictures of the Transmission so you all can see the effects of the damage. The 89 Civic Si I am not going to be rebuild back to the normal. I have now changed my mind, and going to take what I want off of it (like the engine) and going to sell the shell. The engine from the Civic Si is going to go into the CRX which is now sounding really bad. I think it is now running on only 2 cyl's. I think that it might be a spark plug, a plug wire, or it just desided to now run on only 2.
January 8, 2001:
Well today I called to see where my '91 Civic was, and I got the bad news... My Civic's engine was wrecked as well from when the tranny broke, cracking the casing on the engine block. So I went looking for the best price on a Engine and Tranny for my car. Found the best price at a wrecking yard for $800 bucks. Hopefully it wont have any problems and will run great.
January 6, 2001:
The Civic is still in the shop. Going to check on it in a few days and see how it is going. Posted some new pictures onto the site: a few current pictures of the 1991 Civic, one of the engine and one the exterior. also got a couple of the interior. Also posted the engine picture of the Kia, nothing really special, stock to the point. I will soon have some current pictures of the 89 Civic Si.

August 13, 2000:
Took the Kia to the track today and it ran pretty good times. The best time was a 16.034, so check out the time slips for the Kia.
