Travis Barker a King among men (however thats spelt) in my eyes. When Travis was young his mother noticed he liked to bang things ....... with sticks at that moment she said 'Hes gonna be a drummer' she and his father Randy had bought there son a cheap Kit and he never lost his love like his predocessor Scott he never sold himself as a Punk drummer. He loved punk again especially The Decendents having an empressive record such as The Suicied Machines, The Auqabats and for a piriod of time with The Vandals this is were he meet Tom and Mark for the first time. He started with some of the hardest types of drumming to learn JAZZ this unpredictable form of drumming is rarly similar and Travis was soon one of the best in his field. Travis had grown up in a rough neighbourhood and had used drumming as a way of keeping out of trouble. Before his mother died she told Travis (10) to follow his dreams and he did. Travis had much expirience in Punk  His previous band the Aquabats would of undoubtedly gone far on his merit alone. Travis is a keen collecter of classics such as vintage Cars and Bikes. He owns his own store called Famous Stars and Straps and does many side projects such as Box Car Racer and The Transplants.
Scott Raynor ex blink-182 drummer wasnt really into the punk scene he was a metler with some cool friends. Tom and Mark alone were good but a drummer would be needed. A friend of Tom the lads tracked him down. Scott was enspired by Metallica's Lars Ulrich and had bought himself a cheap Drum kit and had payed for a few lessons. Before long he was purdy good. Scott was a real good drummer but was also cautious he would stdy hard so he would have somthing to fall back on to him drumming soon became a hobby more than a future life he began to miss gigs and would often be seen in back before shows with a book in his hand studying. One night scott called the fellow members hours before a show to cancel but they had to play. Luckily another band was there witha drummer who was keen to help out Travis Barker learned all of there set in less than 15 hours and played the show there was no dout that this drummer was dedicated and blink 182 had found a new drummer. Scott will never be forgotten Good Luck in the Future
