| What is Counter-Strike? |
| Counter-Strike is a mod that you download from the internet, and install over the game Half-Life. Counter-Strike is a game widely played on the internet, and at most PC-Arcades. The file you would have to download is rather large, but seeing that most of you play Rogue-Spear, which requires a fast connection for an enjoyable time, speed is not a issue. |
| Where can I get CS? |
| Well, you can either buy Half-Life for around 20-30$ US then download a 20MB file, or pay 20$ and get the stand-alone version of CS. Afterwards it's optional to download another 20MB patch which just improves the realism, Actually if you want to play online you would have to. |
| I'm perfectly content with Rogue Spear, so why should I waste time trying to aquire CS? |
| I would have to say CS is more realist than Rogue-Spear and everybody knows that when somebody hosts a game of Rogue Spear you're victim to all the cheats and hacks installed on his computer. While CS isn't perfect I believe it handles this problem well. |
| Why don't you play Rogue Spear anymore? |
| Rogue Spear isn't fun anymore even with a cable connection; while CS reamins realistic and fun especially if you play on a LAN, Also my version of Windows doesn't support Rogue-Spear and if it did like my old version of windows it would freze occasionally anyway. |
