| Trisha Yearwood is my absoulte favorite female country artist. I was so very fortunate to catch her is concert this summer, thanks to my dad who took me in the pouring rain, despite his unpreferable taste for country music. I must say the concert was the best display of vocal talent I've ever seen. Her concert gave the audience a feel of her real self by telling storing about songs, answering questions yelled out and making fun of her "weather affected" hair. Now I am kicking myself knowing that in 1998 she and Garth Brooks put on 6, yes 6, shows in my home town. It was a time when I would rather step across hot coal than listen to country music. How could I be so stupid!! Anyway, it was just a delight to see her, and now get to know her by her recent and archived interviews. She seems like a wonderful person, and I wish her nothing but the best. Way to go Garth! Everybody be sure to pick up a copy of her latest cd Inside Out.
